Active Learning Nursery École has very quickly become a warm, educational and positive place for my son to call home. The staff were great at helping him to transition and become comfortable in this new setting while also providing high quality activities. In just a few short months my son has already learned much more than I expected him to and has cultivated warm friendships with the staff and other children. It is a rare program in that it works with such young children providing developmentally appropriate activities while also being fun! Thanks so much, it has been a joy for us.

My 2 ˝ year-old son loves going to Active Learning Nursery École. He has made many 'little' friends and often asks for them on his days off. The teachers are patient, caring and nurturing, and always make time to chat with parents after class. It's easy to see that they like what they do. Marek is always excited to show off the craft that he made that day. I love to hear him sing a new song that he has learned at pre-school. Since starting at Active Learning Nursery École, Marek’s imagination has really taken flight. They end the day with time in the gym, which is great as it burns off some of his energy and works up an appetite for lunch. The facility is clean and spacious and the classrooms are decorated with murals that are super cute and inviting. We chose Active Learning Nursery École not only for its well planned curriculum, but after meeting with Trisha it became clear that she has a genuine love for children.
Marek's Parents
We were looking for a program for our 19 month old to be more interactive with other kids his age and a program where we could introduce a 2nd language. Active Learning Nursery École fit our needs. We met with Trisha and had a look at the program in action. Here is what we found:
- A great social environment for the kids.
- A well-organized program with a good mix of activities.
- The kids get to play and learn.
- The instructors are approachable and open to parents.
- A clean environment.
- The teachers care and are present for the kids.
Our child started the beginner program at 19 months and now at 22 months he is using words in the French language "it's so cute to hear him using his French words." We can see our child is thriving and happy at Active Learning Nursery École, and that makes us happy as parents.

My son is 31/2 and this is his first time learning a second language. I am so impressed when he comes home singing French songs and showing me all the things he has learned.
He will very shortly know more words than me and I have high school French! Thank you Trisha and Madame Carter. You truly have a unique preschool combining an introduction to French and making it fun!

My son who just turned 3 has been going to Active learning preschool since he was just under 2. He was in the 2 day program the first year and now he is in the 5 day program under Madam Eileen Carter. He enjoys going to school tremendously. There is music, dance and gym time 5 days/week which is very valuable during months of winter for an energetic boy like him. Learning French is the added bonus. He seems to know more French words than his 7 year old sister who is NOT in French Immersion program. Madam McKinney and Madam Carter have been very helpful in aspects of potty training as well. They supported his transition from a "baby" to a "big boy". Being under their care 5 days/ week 3hr/day is very helpful. I would recommend that strongly.
